I write short stories. The problem is I never submit them anywhere. To be a published author, you must submit. And then, only after many many rejections, the story will be published, maybe paid for if you’re lucky. I’ve submitted three times, all three were rejections. And I’m not sure that I’m afraid to receive another rejection, in fact, I very much expect it. I would say I’m just lazy, but then, they say laziness is only the manifestation of some emotion you don’t want to deal with (fear?).
What I want is for this page to be a sort of working portfolio of my stories. There will be information on where you can find my work, maybe even readings and book signings someday. Talk about wishful thinking!
Maybe that’s just what this page is, wishful thinking. But hey, check back every now and then, maybe you’ll find a surprise.
